2018 Australian Domestic Exchange
on Smart Cities
25 — 29 June 2019
Following the success of last year's International Exchange to the United States, the Cities Leadership Institute is pleased to announce its Australian Domestic Exchange 2018 on Smart Cities.
Over a number of days, this immersive Exchange will take Australian urban leaders from the public and private sector across the country to explore and connect with cities that are successfully leveraging technology to improve citizens’ lives and local communities. The delegation will be visiting Newcastle, Sunshine Coast (tbd), Ipswich, and Adelaide.
The smart city conversation has been happening not only among local governments, but also, further deepening the focus, on the national level. With this, it is timely to gain insights into Australian cities and councils who are leading the effort in the field.
And it is imperative to focus and strengthen the delivery of strategy and implementation measures on the ground.
The key themes of this Exchange are culture and innovation, finance and funding, data and governance, along with community engagement and customer service. You can register your interest below.
