About
Technology and innovation are
key enablers to drive health
outcomes for citizens, communities
and cities providing the opportunity
to connect, accelerate and advance
physical and mental wellbeing.
Hospitals are a place where all
citizens come together. They serve
as a vital anchor and innovation
centre in a city creating the opportunity for health professionals and urban leaders to share a vision, collaborate and combine resources to maximise community health outcomes.
This approach has given rise to the evolution of the health precinct, an ecosystem that extends well beyond the building walls to create jobs, foster talent and develop partnerships.
In this masterclass, we will explore the importance of an integrated and collaborative approach to hospitals, community health services, schools and universities, active transport, housing and recreation facilities to deliver community health outcomes.
Whether you are an urban leader or a health professional, this masterclass will provide insight and inspiration as to how you can enhance the wellbeing of your community now and for generations to come.
Key Learning Outcomes include:
- How to create health innovation precincts: tools, finance and governance
- Transforming data into actions
- How to form collaborations and public-private/ industry partnerships
- Choosing and connecting the right assets and resources
- How to use and manage health data
