Our Cities have long been seeing a growing concern for the impact of development on our environment, community health and personal well-being. And this concern certainly is not dwindling. From environmental protections to sustainable development, it is more important than ever to protect the health of our planet and the health of our citizens.
Building standards are no exception. While we have seen the growing utilisation of building rating systems such as Green Star and NABERS, these have predominately focused on the building themselves. They have been wildly successful, however society is demanding we go further in terms of sustainable building practices.
The WELL Building Standard focuses on advancing health and well-being in buildings across the world by improving and prioritizing health and human experience in the design of our developments.
